I know we've done this before, but it looks like I shall be picking one up later, those of you who do have one already, can you please tell me if you are pleased with it?

Cheers. x

I asked my good pal and drinking buddy elihuspeaks what he thinks over on the fabulous www.phonescoop.com. (they're crazy mofos I can tell you) and this is what he says.....

"the D500 is one of the absolute best phones I've ever used. It has pretty much everything I could (reasonably) want from a cell phone. Bluetooth, megapixel camera, QVGA screen, MP3 player, 96mb of internal memory, syncs perfectly w/Outlook, additional speaker available for speakerphone and playing music, etc. Normally, I hate sliders - but this one is different. The size gives it a very different feel from the D415 (it's compact - but not too small). All in all, it would be an incredible phone for T-Mobile to add to their lineup (I'd take it over the Razr any day)."

I don't know how I've managed to live this long without  96mb of internal memory.  Sounds like you've got a good one there Kinkmeister, elihu knows his stuff!

Cheers Shaun, that sterling endorsement has more than made my mind up, now all I need to do is find some sort of ID so I can complete my transaction.

So why can't I get this bad mofo on Vodafone pay as you go?

The only Samsung they've got is an X640.

What's that like?

Is it a fanny magnet or is it for pikey scum?

I thought I would get that reaction, explain to me clearly and concisely why?  I don't see what is so great about monthly bills.  I have them coming out of my ears and I can tell you they are over rated.

Chavs / pikeys get a BT landline. after running up a bill of several hundred pounds which they will never be able to pay, they get disconnected and credit blacklisted.

Following this, the only means of communication available to them is the PAYG mobile.

available form all good bookstores.

So PAYG is like Burberry.  It's been tainted by association with Pikeys.  I don't think I will be switching to monthly billing just because of that.  So what's this X640 like?  Is is a bit last week?
