First up, many thanks again to all those who contributed towards Billy Paynter's shirt sponsorship last season.

For next season, the club have restructured the sponsorship package and there is no more split home & away sponsorship - you now sponsor a player outright. Unfortunately for us, Deacons sponsored Billy's home shirt last season and have a two year sponsorship agreement - so Billy is not available for sponsorship again next season.

I'm now asking whether anybody would be interested in contributing towards a player's sponsorship for the 2009/2010 season. If so, I'd like suggestions for who we would like to sponsor and also how much you would be willing to pledge.

The sponsorship package includes:

  • Two passes to the Sponsor’s Suite for one of two pre-selected League One fixtures – Sponsor’s Reward Fixtures  (subject to availability).
  • A fully signed Home or Away team shirt of your sponsored player, to be presented at The Sponsor’s evening – ‘An Audience With STFC’ dinner.  (The shirt can be professionally framed for an additional £85.00)
  • Two complimentary tickets to the ‘An Audience With STFC’ dinner.  At this event you will spend the evening with your sponsored player with photograph opportunities.  Additional tickets can be purchased at a reduced rate.
  • Two Complimentary Main Stand tickets to a Coca Cola home League One game
  • Acknowledgement of your Player sponsorship on the sponsors page in the Match Day Magazine for all home games

The cost to Sponsor a player next season will start from £350.00 but will vary depending on the player.

I'd be up for it, I'd contribute around say £20/£30 as a starting point?

I'd also nominate Greer.

And mine, that's why I already made a tentative enquiry. He is available at a cost of £450.
