Argggh need some help with a stupid App!! Gay husband told me to install it but has now gone on holiday and Im stuck!!!

Ive installed a free app called IM+Lite which allows you to use like your MSN messenger on the phone but apprently it shows me as logged in 24/7!!! random!! I dont want that!!!

If I just delete the app will it make me show offline again? I think Ive disabled the account which has hopefully worked???

Is there an option within the app (or the main settings) to logout? I'd do that and make sure you're showing as offline before deleting the app, just in case you end up being logged in for the rest of your life.

Can't you get one of your mates to check if you're still showing as online?

I think some of those IM apps work by keeping you permanently logged on to the service, which would explain why it did it. Worth trying some of the other apps for IM as there are millions of them. I've been using Fring which seems ok, pretty certain that supports MSN as well.

A quick google reveals that there is a setting to keep you logged in for a certain amount of days so you can receive push messages.

Do Iphones have a camera on the front so you can look at yourself? Could be useful who want to try out my new craze.

I have no idea Ben a lot of phones do these days, for video calling, or maybe they foresaw your latest craze.

My phone can do video calling but only has a camera on the back, so you wouldn't be able to see who you're talking to.
