JFW I think you might be talking about Hartlepool at home. I slipped in a puddle before that game I think.

Yes - that sounds right - the car park was like a river - I got soaked and was deeply upset that only the Arkells stand got given plastic ponchos - didnt we loose as well?? probably? Im not very good at remembering specific games - they all blur into one eventually

It was 0-0 until the last few minutes when a Hartlepool player fell over on the area and they got the most ridiculous penalty ever and won a game neither team really deserved to win. A Hartlepool player even said afterwards if that penalty had been against them he would have gone mental.

After that I was ready to take any dodgy decision that went our way.

I think I only saw us lose once this season. So that one was the worst. Yeovil at home.

Best: Either Leicester Away or Carlisle Away (just the injury time winner)
Worst: Brighton Away JPT or Histon Away (showed just how incompatant Malpas Was)

I only went to two games last season and they were both truly appaling - Hartlepool and Brighton at home, my son came with me to Brighton and I don't think i will ever be able to persuade him to go again, he wanted to leave at half time, he keeps looking at me with pity in his eyes "swindon are rubbish dad" I try to tell him that his family have supported this club for generations, some relatives even played for the side...it all falls on deaf ears, it's enough to make a grown man cry......

Didn't miss a home game.  So for the best, Tranny and Scunny comeing a close second.  I managed 1 game away (Cheltenham) so for the worst games , all the rest.  An abysmal season. so why did I just buy a three year season ticket?  Am I glad thatcher losed all the nut houses and put us into the community.  Dribble dribble

You'll have to pick carefully next season. Take him to a game with lots of away fans, so if the worst comes to the worst he can just watch the away fans.

Fear there are thousands of kids who feel the same way as yours after last season.

Yeah, I bought a mate who was mulling over the idea of getting a season ticket, but I bought him to the Leeds home game and Hartlepool home. He's not so sure now....

Dont think a Hartlepool player even went over...
