What I'd like is for a red shirt with perhaps a white trim just around the end of the arms and neck. If it's Adidas we'd also have the three stripes and that's it.

All these kits with a bit of white here and a bit of white there look a bit crap.

Let's go minimalist and retro!

Having had a look at a few new Adidas kits for the 09/10 season they are all very different, look at Chelsea/Newcastle etc. Not a big fan of that Boro one, or indeed of having a kit thats so similar to another league club. Would take a red version of chelsea's new kit though

Sorry chap, are you taking the piss? The new chelsea top is one of the worst new shirts I've seen! I'm not a fan of the middlesborough kit, if we could have a red version of liverpool's white 3rd kit i'd be a happy bunny.

The new 'panel' Chelsea kit is not very nice at all.

Just a basic red shirt with no major thrills is fine by me.

I agree, I still think that plain red Strikeforce effort with the white stitching was a nice kit. Keep it simple.

That was a good kit. If we're going to incorporate some white - I'd hope they do it ala the 2003/04.

I would love a yellow away (or 3rd) kit again

Or even a green one

Perhaps Adidas could be persuaded to reprise their Swindon kit from the 1980-81 season.

That was pretty minimalist and cool...

Theres too much white in the middlesborough one. And, we should never have green on our shirt, that was purely from sponsorship and that shit badge someone thought was a good idea.

I always thought the green on our shirt was from our old badge and the train on it. ie the green which represented the Great Western Railway (Reg). which would be why we had Green in the "diamond" badge?  Remember when our current badge came out, people were pissed of becuase the train was not green. It was red who represented LMS a rival railway company "back in the day" and not the green of GWR.
