The kebab shop near the bottom of Vic Hill used to always stock such delicacies....

Every kebab shop up here does them, i'd eat a kebab sober but not a rum baba.

Therein lies the problem, I could pretend Sainsbury and Tesco sold nice fresh ones. But I'm not sure I'd risk one from a kebab shop even if I did  know of one that sells them.

Totally stupid I know. I'd eat a doner kebab, a rum baba can't be worse for you/more risky than a doner. I suspect it's because I've never got pissed and fancied a rum baba.

They are indeed ace....Everyone should try one at least once.... why not pop into Stavs (or whatever its called now) at the bottom of Vic Hill on your way home from work?

My first time was after a terrible, terrible Thursday night out at "New York New York" I think I was very ill the next day, due I hope to the Diamond White and not the Rum Baba.....

And before anyone disses me for drinking Diamond White, I was 17.... and I was in New York New York FFS...

Spain are playing in a kit of the same design (different colours) at the Confederations Cup, so I'd say you were spot on there.

Having had a look at a few new Adidas kits for the 09/10 season they are all very different, look at Chelsea/Newcastle etc. Not a big fan of that Boro one, or indeed of having a kit thats so similar to another league club. Would take a red version of chelsea's new kit though

Large kit manufacturers have different templates for different levels of club.

For example - Chelsea, Bayern, Liverpool would all get a level one template.

Derby, Middlesbrough and Peterborough would get the next template down etc etc

We may be bundled in with Derby but there could be a lower template that we might get offered.

Spain look like they've got a level 2 template, but that was a choice probably made by their FA as they could incorporate more navy blue on the shirt using this template.

One thing for certain is that we wont be getting the choice of choosing kit A, B or C etc...

has the whole 'green' thing gone from our team colours now?

perhaps this new adidas shirt will allow the return of some nice green sleeve piping.... Wink
