ten pole tudor looks a good player if we can get him.and i'd say the same about greer.
i hope to see the end of kanyuka, ifil, pook, allen, joyce, peacock, easton(pains me to say it but he was utter rubbish saturday)one of the keepers, not bothered which.sturrock, casal,
infact apart from paynter i couldn't care less who stays.discount cox as he's as good as gone anyway.and morrison the same.

Some good shouts there Mr. Panda.

Tom Craddock instead of Simon Chruch on loan sounds a good idea.

I'm not overally keen on JMW its just he is out of contract and wouldnt be the most expensive player to have.

I cant see Nelson leaving Hartlepool to come here.

Also, stuff it - lets get Parkin back to!

It wouldn't be nearly-post-season transfer speculation if Parkin didn't get a mention  Cool

New players to cover most of the positions already mentioned.

Number 1 requirement is that the majority of the new players have mental strength and desire. Its a difficult thing to measure, and impossible to tell in most cases if someone has it or not.

We've had too many weak willed players this season who crumbled under pressure and got outfought by inferior players.

A couple of proper nutters would be good too.

If we could add that to the 7/8 reasonable or decent players we already have then we might do something next season

thinking first eleven only
Obviously sign Greer and Tudor Jones for starters

Higgs (keeper) of Cheltenham and Duff of Cheltenham for defence
John McGrath of Burton Albion for midfield - James Henry on loan from Reading
Steve Morison of Stevenage for attack

Giving us .. assuming Coxy leaves

Higgs
Amankwaah Greer Duff Vincent
Henry McGrath Tudor-Jones McNamee
Paynter Morrison

whatever happens .. im looking forward to seeing a "fresh" STFC next season

I am a little surprised that Andy Mangan from Forest Green Rovers hasnt been mentioned, same sort of size and build as Coxy and been banging in the goals.....26 in 39 games in the Conference.

Wouldnt have to move homes, is only 22 so has got potential, might be well worth a gamble IMO.

And like Cox has scroed three hat-tricks this season against Torquay United, Lewes FC and Rushden & Diamonds.

Possibly worth a punt, but I wouldn't want Wilson to bring in a player like that and rest all of our goalscoring hopes upon him

Steve Lomas would be ideal.

The reason Mangan is in the conference is because i believe he was one of the former Accy players implacated in the match rigging v Bury....no one will buy him untill the trial is over.

That is true but maybe worth keeping an eye on, pending his FL case, if he gets away with no ban could well be worth a go.
