I'm not sure how many have migrated from Manchester or Liverpool though Batch

I've never seen a Man City or Everton shirt to be fair though.

Fair point Nev.

I have to say that up the the point I could get to the CG to watch Swindon play live I followed Man U (via TV).  I think most of the people I go with have a Prem team.

But I don't know anyone who would wear a Prem shirt to a Swindon game.

If people want to also follow a team they can watch regularly on TV and all that fair enough. But personally I have a great deal of sympathy with the view that supporting your local team should be enough.

I dont really care, surely anyone through the gate is a good thing?

Lots of people come to thier local team through coming to the odd game and yhen getting the bug?

I'm very much in agreement with Yeovil's view.

Yes but didn't you grow up in Swindon or live there when you started supporting them? I didn't mean you have to switch allegiances to whatever teams geographically closest!!

He very often makes a valid observation.
