The striker he had lined up for us is not coming now, DW wouldn't guarantee him first team football!

Nile Ranger's name has been bandied around might well have been him.

If Sturrock is too good for our bench then why doesn't daddy buy him?

Beleived to be a striker from Barnsley, Odejaki (or something like that!) who has just returned to them from Scunthorpe where he had been on loan!

In the Adver on Tuesday -

“We’re talking to a club and it’s about availability,” admitted Wilson, who is thought to have run the rule over Barnsley’s Kayode Odejayi, with the front man’s one-month loan at Scunthorpe expiring this week."

Correct, but he turned down the move as we wouldn't guarantee him first team football!

DW was clearly considered him as a back up then. Can't be easy to drop Paynter as he has been playing well. Some loyalty shown to Paynter me-thinks.

It would be nice to have a back up though because we are looking a tad thin on strikers now. (Excuse the stating the bleeding obvious)

Odejayi made 1 full start and 5 sub appearances, scoring 1 goal for Scunthorpe, yet he demands
a guaranteed first team place with us  Roll Eyes

Fair play to Wilson, heard his interview earlier.

Fair play to Wilson, heard his interview earlier.

What did he say? Was it why Torquay are so grateful?
