Of all the teams around us, Northampton are in the best position - 1 game in hand after tonight and a positive goal difference (compared to the double digit gd's of everyone else)

I'd like to say a Town win, but as someone said, their style is physical and they have a big fat lump of a striker, who they will be pinging balls at all night, so I think that we will get a draw.  Don't see us losing at all.

The real incentive is to possibly jump 4 or 5 places if we win and Crewe get beat or draw.

I reckon we need to take at least 2 points from the Northampton or Yeovil games, primarily to stop them getting the full points. If we do lose them both the table won't make pretty reading.

All depends on which team turns out tonight. If its the one that turned up for the last two matches we'll come away with a draw at minimum. If its that bunch of useless twats that we normally see, we'll get stuffed.

I'm getting a good feeling though, I reckon we'll win 3-1.

Good point regarding draws stopping them getting points as much as it gives us 2 more points

To be fair, how many times have we been rubbish since DW took over? Brighton which was the 1st game and he only had a few days to look at things, And Hartlepool where we lost to a last second dodgy penalty, They are the only two that spring to mind,(oops just remembered Cheltenham) but bar those, we've looked pretty decent in most of them.

Looking at the table, even if we win tonight its only 5 points clear and still so easy to drop if we have a few more hiccups.  Nervous next few weeks thats for sure.

4 points from the next 2 games will do just nicely, and for herthab's sake it'd be best to get a win on Saturday. Based on that, a draw will suffice tonight. Of course, to take all 3 points would be lovely!

Akinfenwa is a brutal but effective player as he proved at the CG when Northampton came down here last time. 80 minutes of crap and then for 10 minutes when he came on of decent chances out of nothing. Last time at ours out they looked very narrow and that really helped us so hopefully our newly dangerous wingers will get some freedom to get at them and then we can do some damage.

I'll only feel confident of getting anything if the Akinfenwa isn't playing (still guessing at that spelling) otherwise it will be hard work and I'll take 1-1.

Be interesting if he plays who marks him, what would work best, the guile and positioning of Greer, or the strength and height of Morrison? Tricky one.
