Malpas did exactly at Swindon what he had done at Motherwell.  Once he took over, his teams made individual mistakes over and over again.  He publicly slagged off his teams for individual mistakes while not taking responsibility for his teams as the manager.  After his last game at Motherwell he ranted about individual mistakes.  He left, the same team improved and went up the league.

Since Wilson took over performances have improved, but the individual mistakes have not gone away.  Today, according to R.S. they didn't clear their lines because they were kackered after mixing in it with an in-form side, and then conceded the goal The individual mistakes will end, Swindon will win games before the end of the season.  If we had been in mid-table, we wouldn't have been bothered or surprised by the result, with Leeds winning seven on the trot at home.

I'm not saying that MM shouldn't have been sacked, just that Wilson should be as well.

Reg, let's worry about sacking Wilson if and when we go down. At the moment there is still all to play for. If the players act how you do then we really are fucked.

we either sack wilson and the backroom staff, identify a new manager with a proven track record who can bring in his own backroom staff

or

we keep faith with wilson, sack the backroom staff and allow wilson to bring in his own staff

p.s. regardless, i really think byrne, williams and granville need to go along with a large number of the playing squad

Wilson doesnt have his own backroom staff.

Not like Sturrock or Holloway who take the same staff every where, so even if we let him pick his own staff which we should have done when he signed anyway. I dont think he'd bring in anyone he's worked with in the past. Probably see who applies and who interviews well and the like.

Apart from Under Sturrock these coaches have not been able to get the best out of the squad. Byrne should stay in some capacity though., Been very loyal to us and turned down other offers to stay here. Granville and Williams can go though

Not for me to say but other people on the site can confirm that, think it was mentioned before in a thread as well.
