Don't think they won anything. Iron Maiden did, and they are Australian.

That's not strictly true as Iron Maiden are British.

That sounds like me but with an added element of social activism. I'll delete your number...

Where do you draw the line  fatbury? Do you only consider the top 10 selling british album's in the uk of the last year? top 20? top 30? top 40?

The awards clearly have a critical factor, they've never just been given out to the biggest selling.

Dunno why I thought they were Ozzie. I must've confused them with AC/DC. A shocking faux pas on my part - I was positive I had it right! But Iron Maiden definately won an award, didn't they?

So you go for the noncy poncy male grooming type who would probably never leave the house if he was capable of bumming himself. There's no such thing as over brainy unless intelligence is something that you might be scared of because you're some kind of Chloe Deacon. Yeah, those Greenpeace types really fuck me off too! I'm not interested in talking to someone unless they're tipping oil into a school fish pond whilst harpooning a whale. Fair enough on the self righteous bit. Have I just defended Chris Martin? Why can't you just not like him because his music is shit godammit! I've had it with people thinking that scruffy is some sort of crime. I get it all the time at work. 'tuck your shirt in', 'you need a shave', 'why are your eyes bloodshot?'. Yeah, fuck off! Like spending hours tarting yourself up makes you in some way more efficient. I shower, I use deoderant, I change into other scruffy clothes on a daily basis...

I wish I'd gone on that Blind date programme when I was younger. I'd have been a definite pick.

"Can we get on with this? I’ve got to do AIDS and Alzheimers and landmines this afternoon and I wanna get back for Deal Or No Deal. Plus Gwyneth’s making drumsticks."

I had a shave recently, my boss told me to get my scruffy appearance back as I "looked ill".
