I wonder if the idea is to play JPM on the left with Kanu on the right, surprised there isn't a central midfielder in there though, although I suppose there is still a few days yet, so Wilson may hope to get a few players out the door to get another in, this must leave us with a squad of about 30 players now, a big squad for this level.
I suspect the 2 french players have been signed as much with a view to seeing how they do at L1 level with thoughts for next season if they prove their worth.
