I love the way his family emphasised this was nothing to do with Coronavirus by saying he was just “very tired”. 🙁

Bob Andy, half of the duo reggae group 'Bob and Marcia'  sadly passed away on March the 27th.
This was a Jamaican vocal duo, that consisted of Bob Andy and Marcia Griffiths. They had UK hiit singles  in 1970 with "Young, Gifted and Black" and followed up with "Pied Piper", which peaked at number11 in the UK Singles Chart in 1971.
He was aged 76.
Absolute favourite of mine during my skin head days of the early 70's.    One of the best on the never to be forgotten Trojan label.    R.I.P. Bob.

Young gifted and black is one of my favourite songs a real ska anthem. Trojan one of the best record labels for me too. RIP Bob.
