Only just heard. Pioneer of punk/pop sub genre. Bought all of their early stuff, saw them twice, fantastic band. Another part of my youth withers. RIP

That's how she has been labelled since her split from Eastwood. Some of the media outlets were still using that as the headline for her epitaph, which, as you say, is a bit harsh.
