Pete Shelley - Jeez.  I remember hearing the Buzzcocks for the first time like it was yesterday...

Very sad... I never knew whether Shelley was his real name or a sort of reference to the poet. Early Buzzcocks tunes were the voice of a more sensitive working class youth. Ever fallen in love with someone you shouldn't have fallen in love with?

Noooo. The Buzzcocks were so good.  Crying

Too young, though he didn't look like he had a good diet in recent years.

Responsible for some of the most perfect pop songs whilst remaining cool and credible. First two albums were faultless and Buzzcocks still sounded great in Swindon in 2011.

I really liked his solo stuff too, especially this album.

That's terribly sad. RIP Pete.

While Reg was falling in love with someone he shouldn't have fallen in love with I probably went more down the orgasm addict route in the late 70's.

Had booked up to see them at the Albert Hall next June.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Oh dear. Hope they turn it into a tribute night with loads of people doing versions of Shelley songs.
