When some of these guys die I go to youtube and get hit with a wave of nostalgia. As though it's just then that you realise just how much influence they had in your life even if you didn't notice it at the time. I felt that way when Robert Miles died fairly recently, I played 'Children' and it hit me that he was kind of 'there' with me during part of my life.

RIP, Chester.

Never a fan of Linkin Park, although Numb was pretty good. Still pretty saddened by this.
Hate it when people feel they have no option but to kill themselves, what an unthinkable position to be in.
RIP Chester.

First album I ever had was Hybrid Theory, loved it at the time.
As has been said, so sad that some people feel suicide is the only way out. He has 6 children and a wife too.

Gutted about this. LP were a huge part of my life for a long, long time and influenced me so much. Depression is a fucking cunt... I really can't believe there's such a stigma about it.

RIP Chester. Thanks for everything
