Cornell was a musical genius underrated across the public musical spectrum here in the UK. His vocal range was phenomenal and I remember him saving his "throat ripping" tracks like Cochise and Set it Off from his Audioslave project, to last in his sets and punching his larynx. I hold him with the same esteem as Dave Grohl. It's a shame many more didn't. Such a shame to hear he took his own life which is what my own project is focussed on. Especially in males under 45 (I know Cornell was 50something).

We gots to talk more boys/men/lads regardless of your age.  Everyone has and you have it from me if any of you here and now have any thoughts regarding suicide, anxiety or depression, please don't do this alone or feel you are alone. I lay down an open book here to you, if you need to vent, have a concern, or have any worries then don't hesitate in having a chat with me. I'm with you. By talking more we can remove this stigma and make these subjects commonly spoken about as freely as the common cold.

Gutted about Cornell, had a huge grunge phase in my teens and Soundgarden were a big part of that. Saw them live about 5 years ago and he was unbelievable. Big fan of audioslaves first album too. Big shame
