the report updated to say ambulance attended, probably an incorrect assumption.

Apparently it was heart failure that is suspected but not proven as yet.

Genuinely shocked by his death (although my first thought was that it was a "recreational" drug induced problem).

Doesn't everyone essentially die from heart failure?

The queen of Sheba episode of the Royle family is brilliant. Arguably the best of them all. Was only on the other night too.

I thought of her "wafer thin ham" line in another episode when the tallow in five pound notes was discussed on here recently. She was so good. Sad year is this.

My nan and my mum met him on several occasions, the guy did amazing things for charity. And not in a showy celebrity "I've just given this" way either, he seemed genuinely philanthropic. I mean I can't imagine many people (that I know anyway) morning the loss of a guy in wham, but as a human being and at such a young age, yeah. Sad.

There is a lot of stuff coming out about his 'hidden' charity work. He loved being famous but didn't like 'fame' per se.

He had an incredible singing voice and some of his live ballad performances give me genuine hair on the back of the neck moments.

The BBC report annoyed me, was that all she did? No, hundreds of films. All they can talk of is that and show photo's and quote that bell end tomlinson. Shameful.

Mrs ghanimah is a big fan and 'dragged' me to one of GM's performances during the Live 25 tour at Earl's Court. I was never really into his music, but hearing him sing live is something else entirely. No recording I've heard ever did justice to what his voice sounded like live. I'm glad I had a chance to hear it.
