I read that it was Jeremy Vine, MB

Started his radio career with Pirate Radio, ie Radio Luxembourg, when it was a bit edgy and ended up a BBC Icon (albeit with a spiky twist after being eased out at an age most people have died) interviewing every prime minister for about 25 years.

found Cohen a bit mixed, in a good way. one minute you are listening to something that sounds very dated, the next some genius like waiting for the miracle or nevermind..

I haven't listened to much of his music but I recently listened to his final album which is exceptionally poignant now he has died.
