Used to like watching him, when I started playing poker and watching the poker channel to pick up tips.

Richie Benaud's long innings is over. Great commentator, love the way these greats almost feel part of your growing up, him Bill MacLaren, Murray Walker. RIP Richie.

Mourning everyone.

I'm not sad...the greatest ever Australian, even though he was French. Love Richie, love cricket.

Brings back memories of school holidays in the 1970s.  White Horses, banana splits and then the test match on BBC.  Inevitably rain stopped play.  Wonder what they will do with the ashes.

RIP to one of  the great voices of cricket, think of cricket commentators and you think of John Arlott, Peter West and Richie Benaud - at least those of us of a certain age do!!

Richie was to cricket what Dan Maskell was to tennis. RIP.

Richie's final spell on Channel 4 in the 2005 Ashes series. Someone near me is peeling onions and they need to stop it, rapidly.
