Fred was a fine comedic actor, one of my favourites. Part of the Christopher Guest ensemble (Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind, For Your Consideration) and the Anchorman movies. Plus a billion TV roles.

His Spinal Tap appearance is very brief. The later Guest directed films had some classic Willard momemts.
