Fuck man. Used to have a pint with mark back in the day when he'd finished his radio show. He was good at coming into the old prince of whales before it shut down.

Absolutley gutted to be honest. Would see him about and we'd say hello. Didn't realise he was ill.

Remember a great time when were having a pised up bbq at fred eliots house. Think it was Fred, me, maybe samdy and sipie?. Nearly got Marie to read out "Cunt Flaps" live on air. "Sounds a bit like cat flaps" Then I think Mark almost doubled down.

I'm really gutted.
Yeah the first time I ever met Mark in the Goddards he said to me he met you after and had a pint with you, that would have been 10 years+ ago.

He kept his cancer very quiet as he didn't want anyone worrying about him, he had it for about 5 or 6 months, late stage colon cancer then it spread quickly and was innoperable he was on palliative chemotherapy for a few months which showed improvement.

So much so that he felt a bit better and I was going to go visit him after Christmas to discuss each of our cancer treatments. That can't happen now.

Right until the end he very fondly remembered along with me the posters on here who used to txt in after matches and how he often had to censor them.

A nicer man you will never have met.
