Part of a generation of black footballers when monkey chants were (almost) normal.  Joined Top tier WBA just as Chris Kamara joined STFC in his first spell.  Cyrille's good grace and prolific goals made him a popular, high profile figure and helped turn the tide against overt racism at football - to the benefit of subsequent generations of black footballers and the game itself.

RIP Cyrille.
