Only having 1 early season cup game on it has helped...

The pitch does look decent. Hopefully Wilson will use that to our advantage with his propsed attacking play, rather than us having to watch 90 minutes of "long ball" every other week

Still got a chance of silverware this season then,I might break in and ruin it later out of spite.

Only problem with a decent pitch, is every other team that come here use it to their advantage and pass round us. Bring back the mudbowl, we might get a few wins!

To think we blamed Malpas, eh? Roll Eyes

No, lets look for the most insignificant little positive possible and talk about it.

Our shirts are a nice shade of red and the team doesnt get them dirty.
Jeeeeez lighten up! So what if people want to look at a few 'minor' positives for a change? Just because you're all doom and gloom 24/7 doesn't mean we all have to be!

Anyway, back on topic.....The pitch looks fan-fucking-tastic indeed. Here's hopin we take advantage of this now we have someone at the helm who is willing to play good football!

I have seen worse away shirts. Plymouth Tangerine effort a couple of years ago was diabolical.

Citys "gold" kit a few years back was possible the worst I had ever seen!

I think Brizzle rovers pink kit eclipses that "effort"

There are lots of factors to the pitch being so good this season.

Marcus Cassidy is now working for Swindon only and not just 14 hours a week.

Sturrock used to HAVE TO train on the pitch and not at the training ground.

New mowers, other equipment and a good growing program were followed in the close season.

And 1 thing that has really helped us is that, have we actually played on it when it's been raining???

Triseros isn't answering as he was hammered last night.

City had a purple shirt and lime green shorts number that was pretty objectionable.

I'd take shitty boring long ball over 'good attacking play' if it means we will win games.
