He also did us a huge favour once. As a Wycombe player he scored against Rovers in an 2-1 end of season away win, sending them down instead of us. Okay so that meant years more of Andy King but it was worth it at the time.

And got pummelled 4-1. O Halloran netting a second half penalty for our goal. Rockin Robin beat their hippo in a half time mascot sprint.

Oh yes the game where A Van Der Linden was finally played at the back. And then released.
Mind you he was dreadful that day. But still better than Adrian Bakali - in his one appearance.

We took quite a few if i remember........City fans left a big banner on the motorway junction to Stoke with 'well done Swindon' on it...cos the Rovers were down....

I drove down from Scotland for that game with 3 mates who vowed that Swindon were so awful they would never watch them again! And haven't! Only I have had to suffer since then!

We took a ridiculous amount that day, nearing 4000 iirc, fantastic day out, despite the result
