We could do a lot worse than Money IMO.
Apparently his first act as Swindon manager would be to bring in a Brazilian striker currently playing for CSKA Moscow. but Money couldn't buy me love.

I am actually warming to the idea of Richard Money as manager. Here is a quote from him when he was at Warsaw.....sounded exactly like what we need. But using largely the same defenders, Money has also managed to create a near impregnable barrier to provide the platform for his side's promotion challenge.
Remarkably, Walsall are yet to concede a goal at home in the league, with their six matches yielding a 100% record.
My philosophy is to build from the back. That's not being negative but you can't win without keeping clean sheets," said Money.
They have always had footballers here and we want to try and play our football and when we can we have done that.
But I felt we needed to be tough and needed to be able to defend at set-pieces and keep clean sheets.

Richard Money was my "early speculation" choice - thought he did a very good job at Walsall and they were mad to let him go. I gave up on the idea though when the rumour mill started. Could do a lot worse than Money.

Interestingly Villa v Everton is the most played match in the English top flight...both have 70 wins. Malpas is just outside of Newport....if it was Speed, I'm sure Mex could think of a way of celebrating.

I'd be happy with Money. A very good manager. Really did turn Walsall around after Merson fucked it all up there. They haven't quite been the same since he left.

I'm not sure about Money. Obviously a good manager and a safe pair of hand, but in terms of a season ticket renewer, hmm.
People I do not want though: Martin Ling, Colin Calderwood: What's the point of signing managers that are doing shite?

I'd be well fucked off with Money after the names mentioned, if I'm honest.
OK he did the job at Walsall by building from the back but they had better defenders than we did and their football was not pretty to watch in the slightest.

Not sure I would worry about that right now, we seem to play a game of who can kick it the highest from the defence, just saving us from any threat of relegation would do for me this season!
