We went up and scouted their team in their match against Exeter and in my opinion Swindon's Macklin is one of the best players in youth football; he is like Cristiano Ronaldo, wonderfully gifted on the ball, more than capable of taking players on with an array of tricks. Depends. You can end up like Aaron Ramsey at Arsenal, or you can end up like Leon Knight. Knight was a fucking quality player who had the ability to go far yet his attitude was shocking and he's now playing in the Conference. Ramsey another incredibly talented player who knuckled down and looks like being a Premier League player for years to come.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of arrogance in a player as long as it doesn't turn into an attitude problem. I don't know much about Macklin, I generally presume all our youth players will end up at local non-league clubs at best, until they prove otherwise at first team level.
