Any truth in the fact Money turned us down because he was told he would have to work with Byrne and Williams and didnt want to?

Heard he held talks, agreed to sign a contract. Came to sign it and some addition things had been added one of which was Byrne and Williams would stay on and he didnt accept it and stormed out. Rather then us not agreeing compentsation
Could and probably is all bollocks but at least makes a tiny bit of sense out of the hes quit Newcastle story that never quite claim true.
Although, if it is true why the hell would/is Fitton so loyal to Byrne and Williams of all people? Unless its a purely money reason which still doesnt make much sense.

DV is right about Money, he turned us down and the stumbling block was not cash.
Added to that, we couldn't agree terms with Southampton over Hockaday.

Again, I've heard the complete opposite re: Hockaday. We offered him the job then Fitton read/saw/heard the negatitivty and removed his offer to Hockaday. Which again could be bollocks but is also stupid because Keith Burkinshaws name never got a public mention. again, if the Money thing is true....why so loyal to Byrne and Williams. I cant understand it?

i can understand it, no compensation for them and no extra cash to hire Richard Moneys backroom staff, all down to £

Maybe because it's not true?
I heard that Money wanted Byrne and Williams to stay on, but Fitton wouldn't let him keep them.

Same for Malpas but we soon fucked him off. Surely League One survival is worth more to us than compensation for Byrne and Williams?
