Disappointed at the end result, but a point gained and I thought we got lucky a few times.
Central defence looked a lot sturdier than it has done. Kanyuka miscontrolled a few times but Aljofree had a decent game imo.
Central midfield was outclassed. In fact the whole midfield struggled, Posh seemed to close down their man very well. McGovern had a good game - didn't drift inside that often and chased down a lot. Also put in some good tackle. An unfortunate own goal meant he didn't get man of the match in my opinion.
Paynter really had a bad game which surprised me. Cox did his job and managed to score, you could tell he was shattered towards the end.
What I'd say about the goal - we sat back far too deep for the entire second half. We invited the pressure on to ourselves and that cracking goal was not the only shot they managed to get from distance. Posh also seemed to win every second ball, much to my annoyance.
I was equally annoyed to see the return of the Strictly Come corner routine. Dancing on the penalty spot is not only ridiculous, but putting the corner to the far post where nobody is, is even more criminal.
Overall I'm happy with the point, but I think we need a new manager who will make us more solid and difficult to break down, especially at home.

No, it was toward the end of the 1st half when Cox sort of sliced a ball back to Smith which made it look like he pulled out of a tackle (Which he didn't). As Cox was running past us he shouted out "Cox your a fooking Chicken".
What a Muppet!
ahhh I was having a wee and getting a drink at the end of the first half!

Are these two events mutually exclusive?

My first game in ages so i enjoyed it inspite of it being a bit of a nothing event really Thought a point was a fair enough reflection of the match.Nothing has changed from the last time i saw usplay though,we look good up front but the defence is about as much use as chocolate fireguard. Still makes it all interesting. On another note, the hot chocolate is vile. The horrid powder they use just won't stir away and you end up with loads of it clogging up the spout on the lid.If it was clumped chocolate i wouldn't mind but its salty nastiness

I agree with that. Last night was my Oxo debut, and it wasn't half as nice as Bovril...
