Biggest ever friendly? Really? A lot of the supporters don't care much for friendlies BO. Don't blame them, not interested in them in the slightest, just a money making exercise for the SFA suits.

Fuck knows what capello has done to our boys. I'm all for it though He's even got the squad players (who've never played together as a unit by and large) looking like a good well organised side. The biggest plus is our ball retention. It used to do my head in watching England as we tried to play premier league style football and give the ball back to good sides every 10 seconds. As a result our players would be fucked by the end of the game after 90 mins of ball chasing. The players now look a lot calmer when in possesion despite Fabio threatening to do his nut if any of them gives the ball away needlessly or in a bad area. Its not perfection and we're by no means condenders for the World cup (yet ) but it does go at least some way to showing that those that said our players were massively over rated where wrong. We do have some good players (and some mediocre ones) and our squad is one of the top 10 in the world. We just needed a competant manager to get the correct level of performance out of them.

Nah, they were staying away in protest against the 86 hand of god in support of Britain's best and ruling country, England. I'm not fishing, it's the only explanation. BTW, Butcher. Did he or didn't he?

I don't believe he did, rather embarrassingly Maradona played the "who is Butcher?" card in a post match interview. He said he shook the hand of the Scottish manager and that was it, as he didn't know who Butcher was. The whole episode is childish to say the least.

I don't know, preserving a 22 year grudge takes dedication.

Glad someone said it, because i don't understand this "Rooney, Gerrard and Lampard are shit" nonsense people have in their heads.
Lampard and Gerrard, are in stats alone, amongst the best midfielders in the world. Few midfielders score, as near as makes no difference, 20 goals a season for going on 4 seasons on the trot. And Rooney although a little bit poor until lately, still has so much more to give than just scoring goals. I could understand it based on England performances, but that's only judging them on a fraction of their games.
That's exactly what I'm doing-judging them on their England performances because that is the topic. They(Ferdinand and Gerrard)are generally not very good for England, dont really care what they do for their clubs

From a friend at the ground Terry was screaming at Carson to come out and claim it. Well Terry should've dealt with it, if the keeper wants it he calls, if not you deal with it. To be fair, Terry admitted it was his fault.
