You know somethings wrong when your best players are your fullbacks.

We looked toothless last night. A severe lack of ability on display, and for the first time the substitutions (or lack of) really frustrated me. Thats the last time I ditch uni for a match!

Match report:

Kanyukas pass to the invisible man led to...  oh sod it, can't be arsed.

Load of cack. At least they had onions for my burger.

Couldn't manage the chips though Sussex!-Ta for the left overs.Dont really know whether we were bad or good  due to a combination of the distance and the glare from Herthab's head, could only see as far as the penalty area-but we were shit in there.Culdnt understand why Macca didnt come on at half-time.their right back was a munter.Dont know whether Cox stormed out of the half-time team talk but he was on the pitch 10 mins before everyone else.

oh dear same old same old then from your reports folks.
malpas's chopping and changing when we are well into the season points to someone not really knowing what they are doing.
it's been inevitable for a while now, just a matter of when he gets the boot.
still think he has more time yet personally.

In fairness I think chopping and changing in the JPT is sort of understandable. But what I don't understand is why the subs were left so late when it clearly wasn't working.

But to be fair I wasn't there.

We were all saying that at the time Batch - it obviously wasn't working but yet no changes were made until it was too late.

Putting a positive spin on it, we ain't gonna be hassled by glory supporters at Wembley and there's a really good chance we could get revenge against Histon (twice) next season!

JPT away at Brighton. Lost 2-0. Two defensive errors again (1 pen, 1 dodgy back pass leading to corner which we didn't defend).

We had more of the ball did fuck all with it.

Most people who went said they were shit, we were shitter.

But it was better than Histon.

Does anyone think we're a bit like England have been. Turn up to games, run around for a bit but don't actually do anything and are cack - like we are going through the motions. The difference between our good performances and our shit ones seems to be attitude and team spirit. Obviously can't comment on the Brighton game but seemed that way against Histon.

First and last time I'll compare us to England I reckon.

Definitely Si. We don't have anyone except maybe Pook who play for the shirt and not the money. IMO we need a few more players who actually really care about playing for Swindon.

Bull, Pook isn't playing for some pride in the shirt, he's playing for a flippin contract!
