Just gone on loan to Franchise from Plymouth. Would have been an ideal signing for us at right midfield? Maybe Sturrock didn't want MM ruining him...

Did he play for Barnet a couple of seasons back against us? If it's who I think it is then no thanks. Hugely overrated.

Two footed, fast, direct... was a pain in the arse in the FA cup game last season and would have been a decent loan signing and supplemented our attacking options very nicely indeed.

We need defenders who can defend more than anything at the moment.

Whilst Puncheon has qualities that we could do with, the biggest factor as to why Sturrock is sending him on loan is....attitude,attitude,attitude.Puncheon went to Plymouth and quickly developed an ego as big as a house.

I know McNamee and Cox were terrible signings weren't they? And this is a man who close friends with the likes of Paul Sturrock and Sir Alex Ferguson but i'm sure he has no contacts in the game.

and how exactly do you know this information Bart? Did Malpas tell you or are you just making it up because you assume he has no contacts?

I think Puncheon is a good player. He took the piss out of Ifil when we played Barnet in the FA Cup last year.
Don't think I'd have him here though.

Whilst Bart doesn't help himself didn't Sturrock/Byrne find these two?

Does Alan Mayes have an "in" at Plymouth?
I remember him saying something about Simon Walton that turned out to be true as well.
