(First of all I hope you all like how I have presented this)

Saw this in the Adver today, sounds to me like Malpas and co have had a bit of a bollocking.

"There will be a significant lack of sleep among the management team as they return to work this week,
but let me assure you, that will not be through worry. It will be because they are trying to sort this situation out through sheer hard work.

I support managers who work for me and want to do everything I can help to make them better managers. I would do the same to the manager or any member of staff in any walk of life, so this isn't a different situation.

Of course there are strengths and weaknesses in the club and the team, we are not the perfect club yet - that is what we are striving for - but I'm confident that when we're playing well we can be a match for anyone. In a situation like this the only thing that works is hard work, and everybody at the club is very alert to that.

Sounds like he's going to send Malpas on a course, or maybe bring in some outside help. Possibly reading between the lines a little too much.

Which is what I said the other day...or perhaps he could go on a short secondment, to Brishole City or something to see good practice....(written through the most clenched of clenched teeth)

Sounds like he's trying to support Malpas and give him constructive criticism rather than a bollocking.

Oh, and obviously get Malpas and the team doing some hard training montage style.

If that's what he wants to do then he needs to go and be an HR Director somewhere.

Being the Chair of a football club means difficult decisions need to be made.

The time has come for that decision to be taken

I must admit I'm at the stage now where I don't really give a fuck what anyone connected with the club is saying. Its the same old regurgitated crap. The only time i will take an interest again is when Malpas goes. All I'm interested in is what is happenning on the pitch. All the rest is bollox, which by no conicidence whatsover is exactly what we're getting on the pitch.

We're only making plans for Malpas
We only want whats best for him
We're only making plans for Malpas
Malpas just needs this helping hand
And if Mo Malpas says he's happy
He must be happy
He must be happy in his work
We're only making plans for Malpas
He has his future in a football deal
We're only making plans for Malpas
Malpas' whole future is as good as sealed
And if Mo Malpas says he's happy
He must be happy
He must be happy in his work
Malpas is not outspoken
But he likes to speak
And loves to be spoken to
Malpas is happy in his work
Were only making plans for Malpas

If only we could get that sung in the TE, a bit too complex though methinks.

I posted yesterday morning that i had hoped that Fitton would take decisive action.Sadly he didn't.

Is it the loss of face Mr Fitton or are you just obsessed with the cost of dismissal?

The silicon chip inside his head
Gets switched to overload.
And nobody's gonna go to Town today,
He's going to make them stay at home.
And Fitton doesn't understand it,
He always said he was as good as gold.
And he can see no reason
'But there are good reasons
What reason do you need to be shown?

Tell me why?
I don't like Malpas.
Tell me why?
I don't like Malpas.
Tell me why?
I don't like Malpas.
He's going to take
The whole team down.
