Yeah he did apologise.  Least he has the guts to accept he made a mistake.

Also have to say we met the Chief Execs and owners of Hartlepool pre match and were chatting to them for around an hour.  Absolutely fab bunch of people - a real credit to Hartlepool.

could have just walked off the pitch, rather than walking all the way over to see us.

I missed a trick - I stood in the cold eating a sub-standard cheeseburger old skool.

Speaking of cheeseburgers, the next day I had a bizarre yet strangely awesome effort at Federation Park, Gateshead while watching Dunston Federation beat Bishop Auckland 2-1.

Price: 90p (bargain)

Fucks' sake, give the bloke some credit. He must have been gut-wrenched inside, he knows he's cost us 3 points and that everyone's blaming him for it, he could (and most would) have fucked off down the tunnel and hid. But he shows some respect for those who've travelled all that way (which he knows damn well is going to make them all the more angry with him) and fronts it out. Doesn't make up for the mistake but shows guts, respect and class. A lot of so-called pros could learn from that.

Exactly, and the fans responded by clapping him. not a great performance but slagging him wouldn't have helped.

Where was Aljofree after we beat Franchise? Every other member of the team came over.

Didnt have the bottle. Wasnt big enough to bury it.

Fair play to Phil Smith.

not forgetting the norweigans of course, they didn't really understand when I suggested they had 'omly come for the Swindon'.
