but Callum played in the JPT last season and the pre season games in front of a good few thousand people and came through with flting colours
Then that is good experience, he will get his chance if good enough, but now.

It doesn't help the youth when, in contrast to Sturrock, Malpas wants to do well in the JP Trophy. I know there are rules in place to ensure a strong squad is named, you could still introduce inexperience to the first team.

I'd consider Chris Allen in front of Pook at the moment in the eyes of Malpas... and Joyce will be flirting with a bench place at the moment.

Eventually we'll have 7 subs and this debate won't take place!

Yeah I agree DV. Just seems strange we don't try and get them out on loan.

Very true but then if no one wants them on loan (although people state differently) we cant send them.

I think some first team football each week would do alot of our younger players the world of good. Just not many teams take on 17 year old kids from League One.

They may do but i've never heard anything over public.

Ok, I know full well not everything makes the paper but thinks like Sturrocks loan and Corrs potential loan to the muff got reported.

Never seen anything to say Salisbury after Swindon youngster...

If that makes sense, any interest in our younger players into common knowledge so to a random joe is honestly looks like no one wants them.

Callums agent Barry Gold went to Malpas and told him Salisbury wanted Callum on loan and Callum would like to go to gain more experience and play games Malpas said no, that is a fact
