...are we playing the Sweaties for at cricket? Is it some sort of MCC missionary work, to try and spread civilisation? Bit late for that me thinks, much better off, working on the Dutch or the Danes.

Did you know Wiltshire have a cricket team too. Mercifully they seem to play other minor counties rather than mixing it with proper* counties like Gloucestershire.
*bottom, but at least tehy are there.

Wilts won the Minor Counties title in 1902 and 1909....much as happened with STFC a golden age was nipped in the bud by The Great War. Wiltshire's finest laying down their lives on some Flanders field.
