I don't really think either keepers done that well during pre-season tbh as Smiths been flapping at crosses as well like at the Cardiff match in the first half.
Thing is with Brez though he has the extra reach and some of the saves he does make probably stop an extra 5 or 6 goals over the course of the season that Smith would concede as he just physically couldn't get to them. Plus Brez had the shirt last season and was doing well towards the end of the season so with neither setting the world alight it seems sensible to leave it as we finished.

If this rule was followed then at times last season we wouldn't have had a team. Brez, Aljofree, Ifil, Smith, Cox, Peacock, Paynter, Timlin, Easton.... (the list goes on) would have all been on the sidelines!! ;-) |
