I was trying to sleep then my room went KABOOM and lit up like a mad light thing. So I went on the balcony and watched it. Was amazing. Wish I could have been arsed to get my camera.

Did anyone see that bodyshock programme on telly the other month about people who had been struck by lightening, yet survived. It was quite interesting

I had a slightly eerie coincidence, because I was driving up the A 34 to the M4 back in November, when the sky was lit up around Newbury....put it down to a firework display, but it was in fact the train crash on the level crossing.

Yesterday doing the same run, around the same spot, if later in the day, it was the first sighting of lightning, but again the sky lit up.
