Just watched 'Red'. Pretty average. Enjoyed 'World's Greatest Dad' last night a lot more.
Has anyone seen The Town AND Takers? Still trying to work out if they're the same film...

I've gone through the following this week:
True Grit 127 Hours The Fighter Easy A The Other Guys
True Grit was brilliant, as was 127 hours. Didn't really like The Fighter, and the boxing scenes annoyed the hell out of me. Don't know why i was given Easy A, it was terrible, and the Other Guys was alright. Better than Step Brothers and other recent Will Ferrell shit.

The Other Guys is absolutely quality, I spend the whole film nearly pissing my pants.
I thought 127 Hours was a bit daft.

I was impressed with how Danny Boyle made a film where not much happens last for 90 minutes and still keep me interested.

Watched Perriers Bounty last night. Was expecting a comedy in the vein of In Bruges, has some very good dark humour but essentially an Irish Gangster film. Jim Broadbent is good, and the eponymous Perrier, the superb Brendon Gleeson gives a pretty small but good performance. 7/10

I thought 127 hours was excellent.
I also thought The Kings Speech was one of the most overrated films I've ever seen.

Watched 'She's out of my league' (The wife's selection from lovefilm.)
Actually reasonably amusing but made really watchable by Alice Eve, who is is gorgeous. Nice work Shoestring!
Yes. The first I knew of her was watching the British Comedy Awards, and she turned up wearing this: http://28.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lfkiqqWNZc1qdm9l8o1_500.jpg

Last night I watch RKO 281, a TV film about the making of Citizen Kane. Decent enough if you're interested in such a subject (which I was) but HBO have gone on to make much better.
Also watched Takers with Idris Elba and Matt Dillon among others... It's a brainless heist move which is watchable but ruined by some shit casting choices.... T.I. and Chris Brown are your typical singers/actors while Hayden Christensen is dire... Despite getting the best 'badass' scene.

Is that a real film or a made-up one? Don't watch films so excuse my ignorance.

Real in the loosest of terms. Syfy nonsense I've stumpled upon. Stonehenge has a lot to answer for. You don't watch films? Literally?

Is stonehenge apocalypse one of those sort of made for TV two part specials. I'm sure I've seen it and it was indeed shite

Occasionally, very very seldom go to the cinema either, once every 5 years on average. Last time was the Dammed United because it had a football theme but i'm not into these action thrillers, and call me a sissy but I hate the depiction of gratuitous violence, the cheapening of life, like when you see people being gunned down. Just doesn't do anything for me

For your own well being, don't ever watch Taken.
