I watched Sherrybaby last night. It wasn't as good as I hoped. I guess maybe the plot was a bit weak and there weren't enough good scenes. Maggie Gylenhaal acted quite well in it tho.

Updated my LoveFilm account to 2 DVD's at a time. It's proper good this service.

Tonight I'm watching Run Ronnie Run. It's a spin-off from a TV show called Mr. Show. The film stars David Cross who is awesome as Dr. Tobias Fünke, the "analrapist" in Arrested Development.

I'm interested by this film merely because Cross and co-writer Bob Odenkirk disowned the film after its completion.

Watched Synecdoche, New York which has to be one of the strangest films ever. Good though if you like some of Kaufman's other films (Spotless Mind, Being John Malkovich) Lot's of silly fantasy elements and a wonderful cast.

Kaufman is an insane genius. You miss out Human Nature (meh) and Adaptation (which I really enjoyed).

Run Ronnie Run was a bit shit, loads of cameos though - even David Baddiel turns up for a mini-second.

Worth watching for a small weird segment involving Jack Black doing a Dick Van Dyke skit singing a song called "Kick Him in the Cunt"

Really odd structure for a film. It has flashbacks a bit like what they do on Family Guy.

Watched Nick and Norah's Infinite playlist last night - decent I thought, seemed a lot like Juno though. Good music to boot.

Just watched Slumdog Millionaire and loved it. Predictable, but easy to watch and the girl Latika is a proper sort. Wouldnt mind a chicken madras a pint of Cobra with her!!
