Why did you sit through a double bill of shit films?

Not sure really - possibly I have seen all of the good films available.

I saw Angels and Demons last night and contrary to many reviews, thought it was excellent.  I think you'd need to have a slight interest in history to really enjoy it, however it was exactly how I imagined it to be from the book.

So did I, and I enjoyed it, probably a bit more than Da Vinci.

Also watched role models the other day, made me laugh in a few places but not a classic.

Dont know if it's been reviewed on here, but i lent a friend at work (who likes pretty woman etc etc) Old Boy, it blew her away, she's asking me for more of my dvd's for every weekend, I'm going to do her Ghost Dog this weekend, followed by brotherhood of the wolf, those should really sort her out.

I think Arnie's best role was as Detective John Kimble.

Last night I watched..

The Univited - Wasn't too bad up until the plot twist which was very unexpected and I was initially a bit "wow" but actually I don't think it worked for me. Maybe I should see the japanese original.

Notorious - Was watchable. Have never been hugely interested in Notorious B.I.G and from what I heard his music wasn't amazing but a few tunes sounded OK. Lil Kim was quite hot in it and I'm not generally into black women. In a way it seemed quite an effort of spin to try and put a positive slant on the story of a guy who sold a lot of crack, cheated on his wife, didn't see his kid for long periods, seemed pretty materialistic and died very young. But I didn't know him and maybe he was very talented, haven't listened to much of his stuff before.
