Finally got round to watching Hot Fuzz tonight. It wasn't as amusing as I thought it would be, but it was quite entertaining all the same.

I didn't say it wasn't good, just that it wasn't as funny as I thought it would be.

I agree with Si, it's not as amazing as some say - but it's an entertaining watch all the same.

watched No Country For Old Men t'other day. Was good but I was expecting something really original. I liked the dialogue ("Friend-o") and main character.

I watched Hancock Friday night - alot of people I know told me it was rubbish but I thought it was OK - not at all like I expected

Pity about all the 14 year chavs in the cinema talking and playing with there mobiles - a stern "shut the fuck up" from my other half seemed to work though!

I find throwing Giant Smarties at them works as well.

it was original. but i was expecting something completely different. in its defence i'd heard far too much hype by the time i saw it, was bound to disappoint.

I watched "The Lives of Others" earlier. Good film, really enjoyed it.

Before you all rush out to rent it on my say-so, it is in German so you will be reading sub-titles, but don't let that put you off.
