Isle of Dogs is brilliant. Tried to go and see Journeyman (in North London) earlier but got stuck in roadworks three times trying to get to Crouch End so missed it.

Good shout, goaty. Had to go a bit out of the way to Stroud to watch it, but it was worth the trip.

Are creepy films with kids even more creepy? There’s a new film due release soon called Hereditary which is supposedly the new Exorcist - that creeped me out at the time.

In fact, thinking about it, almost all the paranormal type films involve kids.

Really? Heard and read good things. It looked like another Inbetweeners film, i.e. at least alright.

I think that might be the problem, it's pretty much an inbetweeners film, minus three of the cast. The director was on the Empire film podcast last week, he seems funny, I guess it depends on if you liked the show or not.

Watched the Equaliser 2, was quite good. There was a trailer for the Nun film. Quite a few jumped out of their seats  Smiley

I watched the most ridiculous horror film, Hereditary. Supposedly scarier than The Exorcist, you know it's failed when you burst out laughing.

The wife floating up on the ceiling whilst sawing her own head off had me guffawing big time.

Saw it at the cinema and at the end I scored it a 2/10. Although I couldn’t stop thinking about it for days afterwards, to the point I’m actually looking forward to watching it again.

It wasn’t a horror in the slightest, but the marketing bods did a good job getting bums on seats selling it as that.
