Just watched Hacksaw Ridge what a film and the main character is an inspiration to all , the best war film since saving private ryan if not better.

This is the British equivalent I guess and a story deserving of making it to the big screen.

Manchester by the Sea.

A 10/10 for me, Casey Affleck should be a shoe in for the Oscar

I started to watch this but gave up after 30 mins. It just didn't appeal to me

Hacksaw Ridge was excellent.

One of my mates said it was the worst film he had ever seen(Manchester by the sea), each to their own I guess.

I found it a masterclass in acting, directing and story telling but can see why it might not appeal.

It's far from an action packed film

Watched hell or high water and anthropoid on flight yesterday. Both very good and well worth a watch.
