Finally got round to Prometheus tonight, thoroughly enjoyed it too yet still not sure I agree with "it's not a prequel" comments from Scott.

Watched it last week and completely agree. I was told that there are serious holes in the plot/script as to why clever people do stupid things. I went prepared to be disappointed by these flaws, but didn't notice them in any major way and I still really liked it. I thought the CGI was fucking spectacular as well. I don't like to use the word epic, because I'm not a complete cunt, but it's quite apt in this case.

My only gripe with it is how they completely gloss over Fifield coming back to the ship. Few minutes of action and no one mentions it after. Just seemed odd to me.
Have to say though that Fassbender is fucking ace.

I watched 7 years in Tibet last night and thought it was fantastic. Pitts Austrian accent was a bit strange though
