Saw Batman V Superman the other night.. I really enjoyed it. Definitely laying the foundations for a second one..

Also, watched San Andreas last night... very cheesy, at one point I thought it was a spoof!

Speaking of Tom Hanks I watched Bridge of Spies the other day. Started off as a very intriguing film, then what is actually quite a remarkable story became very unremarkable. It eventually descended into a half-cocked attempt at a heart-warming end and the very last scene had me reaching for the sick bucket.

I saw Batman vs Superman yesterday, and my initial reaction (once I'd gotten over just how thick Ben Affleck's neck is) was "horsewank", which was a shame really.

I thought that it would have been much better without Tom Hanks in it... it's hard to explain, but he made it too 'Tom Hanks-y", which ruined it.

I wouldn't disagree with that and it is what initially put me off watching it!

Got round to watching '71 last night, really good. Sean Harris plays a bad guy you know is a bad guy because Sean Harris is playing him.

The wife put on an Adam Sandler film called The Cobbler last night.

Absolutely fucking terrible.

Watched Kajaki.

Now obviously real world is worse than film world, but even so it gets the point across that the horrors of what can happen in a (old unmarked Russian minefield) war zone is bloody horrific.

I thought it was a great film.

As you say, it was absolutely horrendous in parts in that minefield.

I watched King of Devil's Island (Kongen av Bastøy) over the weekend, brutal film based on true events at a 'borstal' on the island where the now famous low-security prison is based.

Completely agree Batch.

I've watched few recently:

American Sniper - great
Lone Survivor  - very good
Kajaki - very good
Spectre - dross
Terminator Genisys - enjoyable
Adjustment Bureau - gave up due to outside influences
Star Wars 4,5,6 & 7 - All very good but ESB remains a firm favourite
Zootropolis (thanks kids) - watchable but typical Disney
Black Sea -  watchable
Jurassic World - another re-hash but very well done
Kingsman - very good

Anyone would think I've been laid up..................Grin
