I thought the mist was good. The end was pretty horrible!

Watched a Spanish film called 'Timecrimes. Reminded me of Memento, definitely worth a watch if you liked that film.

I watched 'Welcome to the Punch' yesterday - a decent British crime thriller effort. First thing other than The Walking Dead I've seen David Morrissey in too.

Was an entertaining film but I felt it could have done with being a bit longer, it just got wrapped up a bit too quickly for my liking.

It also heavily borrowed the excellent State of Play. Incidentally, McAvoy and Morrissey star in the British 6-part series which I thoroughly recommend you watch and the Hollywood remake isn’t bad either.

Has that been on recently? Sure I saw Morrissey in an ad for something new that looked good. Cheers for the heads up though.

Probably wasn't Basic Instinct 2.

It's about a decade old I think but was on a satellite/cable channel a few months back.

Watch the BBC series before the film. The film is good but it spoils the better tv programme imo (which is the way I did it unfortunately).

Just watched 'White House Down' - I can picture the Yanks clapping and screaming at the end chanting 'USA, USA, USA!'

A couple of films I've borrowed from a colleage, Cloud Atlas & The Kite Runner... I've heard mixed reviews about Cloud Atlas but The Kite Runner is supposed to be decent. Looking forward to seeing them. Anyone seen either?

Watched The Kite Runner last night, really enjoyed it.

I'm not usually too into films with a lot of subtitles... but it really was very good.

Got dragged by Mrs Audrey to see Gone Girl last night.

It was surprisingly good.

Brad Pitt's Fury looks worth a view when released next week

Been waiting for them to make a film about tankers, but doubtless it'll be stupidly 'MERICA!' about everything instead of a more considered look.
