First film that I've watched and actually thought about watching it in two parts. The bath scene was horrendous!

Yeah there were several times I felt I needed to turn it off - the bath scene definately being one of them!!!

I watched 1960 film 'The Time Machine' yesterday.

In this day and age of computer wizardry and technicality of special effects, it was actually quite refreshing to see the cheap and limited special effects used.

And I really enjoyed the film to boot.

Watched Avengers Assemble over the weekend. If you see only one film this year, make sure it is this one. Absolutely brilliant!

Just seen this - absolutely average - all sfx and no trousers. Shit dialogue but wonderful Johansson's arse in a cat suit. Bit of a let down and not my sort of film  - 6/10

Also, when Samuel L Jackson gets angry all I expect him to say is "Does he look like bitch"  Wink

Am I the only one that didn't find snowtown all that shocking?

Watched Real Steel last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Just back from Avengers Assemble, and agree with this summary. What a lot of guff.

I've just browsed through the list of Marvel Studios films and there are only two I've ever enjoyed - Blade (their first production) and Iron Man (which was ok).

Joss Whedon + Marvel Comics = $$$

It's not for me.

Been re-watching the trilogy this week. I'd love to be able to watch them 'de-mastered' as it were. Also, do any nerds know if there is an extra scene in Return of the Jedi? In Jabba's palace there's some singing going on near the start that I don't remember seeing before.

Simply referencing them as 'the trilogy' amused me.

You wonderful, wonderful dork.

A new Jabba's Palace Band musical number, "Jedi Rocks" replaces "Lapti Nek"; Oola is now accompanied by three back-up dancers. Some other footage is added from the extended music video of Lapti Nek [5].

Just watched Thor and was rather impressed with the whole film, great story, great cast and great special effects, going to watch Captain America in a bit, then maybe the The Avengers later

I watched Dark Shadows yesterday. Typical Burton fodder (Depp and Bonham Carter) but enjoyable nonetheless. Oh, and stars the gorgeous Eva Green with a dodgy Yank accent.

Watched Captain America last night it is really good, the story is unbelievable but that is the point & the action scenes are really good. Hayley Atwell is gorgeous in the 1940's uniform, she would get it.

Watched American Pie reunion last night. A tad disappointing but still very watchable, the main problem is that they all grew up so the sillyness is toned down. Except Stiffler that is Smiley

Did see a trailer for Seth MacFarlane's new film Ted. The thunder song was most excellent.
