Be prepared for the most violent dreams you've ever had. Happened to me anyway, probably shouldn't have gone to the cinema to see that film so late.

Brilliant performances and directing by Sir Paddy Considine though.

Just watched Drive.  Thats very good.  A more solitary 'Heat'.  A lot of 80's ness about it, but excellent all the same.

Didnt take much writing in the dialogue did it.

I think that director Nic Winding Refyn or whatever hes called is really good.  Caught most of Bronson recently which he did and was also really good.  Very distinctive.

The person who insited I watch it and lent me the dvd is massively in lust with whichever Ryan that is.  Couldn't really see it myself, but thats not really a surprise I suppose.  Im sure I'd look great in a satin silver jacket with a scorpion on the back as well.

I watched probably the strangest film ever made today. W.R Mysteries of the Organism. Very very weird.

Don't get me wrong, I thought it was brilliant. It's just easy to lampoon!

The opening heist getaway was a particular highlight.

My Serbian film viewing hasn't really gone beyond Emir Kusturica. Unless I'm forgetting some.

Terribly mainstream, I know.

he's awesome in Drive, i have a little bit of a man crush on him and i'm not afraid to admit it...

he's in Crazy, Stupid, Love too which is pretty funny, one of those films you can just switch your brain off and laugh at mindlessly

I've seen Underground. I enjoyed it, it was quite funny. There was bit too much pro-Serbia sentiment in it though, especially after such a delicate period.

You should give No Man's Land a watch. It's a film about a Bosnian and a Serb soldier caught in no man's land together. As you can imagine they get on like a house on fire.

Watched RocknRolla for the first time the other night, thought it was decent.. not as good as Lock Stock or Snatch but much better than Revolver which was dire. I think with the Sherlock Holmes films, Ritchie is getting on the right track again!

Watched Inglorious Basterds for the first time yesterday. Really enjoyed it, OK they perposely and spectacularly re-wrote history but it was entertaining enough.
